I can apply the strategy to problem solving questions involving circles


part 1 and 2 corners/bends 114.668 each, part 3 and 4 85.332 each straights



To find out the length of rope you must take the radius and times it by two, in this case it’s 36.5m so it becomes 73. Then you times 73 by pi giving you 229.336m. To find out the length of the bends you half it. For the straights you subtract 229.336 from 400 giving you 170.664 and then you half that giving you 85.332 for each of the straights and 114.668 for each of the bends.
